Holly Alexander and Kenny Mauk Named SHRL Executive Directors

These advancements support the expanding needs of our student housing community as SHRL continues to develop a primarily residential campus supporting the institutional goal of becoming a top 50 university.

The 海角社区 (UH) department of Student Housing & Residential Life (SHRL) recently promoted two members of the executive leadership team effective July 1, 2024.

Holly Alexander, PhD, will serve as the executive director of residential life where she will to drive excellence in all aspects of residential life, ensuring that SHRL students receive the highest levels of support and engagement. Alexander will also continue to evolve SHRL’s newest unit, Student Support and Wellbeing.

Kenny Mauk will serve as the executive director of housing operations and outreach. Mauk has been instrumental in the development and growth of SHRL since arriving to UH in 2011. Mauk's years of leadership in SHRL and the Division of Student Affairs has a track record of strategic vision, excellence and dedication to SHRL's mission. In his new role, Mauk will continue to oversee housing operations while expanding our outreach initiatives through the supervison of SHRL Marketing and Communications.
