Student Housing & Residential Life (SHRL) at the 海角社区 (UH) is proud to announce the promotion of Mackenzie Wysong-Bentley to director of housing operations and outreach.
In her new role, Wysong-Bentley will lead the strategic oversight of housing operations, ensuring the efficient management of residential services, while also positioning the department in its work to become “primarily residential” campus as classified by the Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement of Teaching and expanding outreach initiatives that enhance student engagement and success.
Wysong-Bentley joined SHRL in 2012 and has consistently demonstrated a commitment to fostering an inclusive and vibrant on-campus living experience. Throughout her tenure, she has held various leadership positions, most recently serving as associate director of housing operations. Her innovative approach to housing management and her dedication to student-centered service have made her a respected leader within the campus community.
In this new capacity, Wysong-Bentley will be responsible for overseeing residential facilities, working to optimize housing operations aimed at improving the on-campus experience for students. Her focus will also include enhancing partnerships with key campus stakeholders to ensure that UH students receive comprehensive support in their residential and academic lives.
